The prompter: your next line, always there
Use an optional suggested line and the live-call controls while you talk.
The prompter gives the person handling a live call an optional next line. It can help you keep the conversation moving while the transcript and customer details remain on screen. You stay responsible for what is said to the caller.
1 “Say this” — an optional next line
The current suggestion appears under Say this. It is written from this ticket and your approved business information, so the price, time or policy in it is the one you publish. Read it, say it in your own words, or skip it — it is there to keep you moving, not to put words in your mouth. If the panel shows Updated, the conversation has moved on and a newer line is waiting; read that one instead.
2 Everything they already said, and who they are
Use Conversation to review what the customer has already said. Available customer details appear with the ticket. A transcript may lag or contain a mistaken word, so repeat back critical names, addresses, and appointment details for confirmation.
3 When you'd rather the AI did the talking
When the type-to-speak box is available, enter a short line and choose Say this to the caller. Use this only for wording you are comfortable sending exactly as entered. It is available while the AI is speaking; after you choose Take Over, speak to the customer yourself.
4 The keypad, on outbound calls
The keypad appears for outbound calls. Open it from Call actions when the number you called presents a phone menu. If it reads Take over to use the keypad, choose Take Over before using it. The keypad is not available for inbound calls.
5 The steps
Open the live call.
In Office, select the row marked Live, and review Conversation.
Read the suggested line.
Check Say this when you want the next line. If Updated appears, read the new wording before saying it.
Send a typed line carefully.
While the type-to-speak box is available, enter a short line and choose Say this to the caller. Do not use it for an unverified promise.
Take over when your voice is needed.
Choose Take Over, wait for the speaking status, then continue the call.
Use the outbound keypad when needed.
On an outbound call, open Call actions to use the keypad. Follow Take over to use the keypad if that message is shown.
Finish or return to monitoring.
Finish the call, or choose Listen to return to monitoring.
6 What it adds up to
The prompter carries the next line so your attention can stay on the customer instead of on composing. When the call needs more than one line — a fee, a policy, what you cover where — the Reference card is right there in the same rail, beside AI Insights, holding your approved company answers: The Reference panel: your cheat sheet during a call.
