Nothing reaches a customer untested
Use your test account to review customer-facing changes before relying on them in live work.
The safest way to improve your AI is to make testing a habit. Change one thing, try the same situation yourself, and listen for the result before you move on. A focused check takes a few minutes and is much easier to understand than a test that changes five things at once.
Treat “nothing reaches a customer untested” as your team's working rule. Use the test account to review a change away from live customer work. Any Tradesly customer can request a test account; contact Tradesly when your team has approved a result for live use.
1 Start with a specific outcome
Write down the result you want before you open the coaching workspace. For example:
“When someone asks for a repair price, offer to book an estimate instead of quoting the full job.”
That sentence gives you both the coaching instruction and the test. Ask the price question after the change, then check whether the answer follows the rule without making the rest of the conversation awkward.
Keep each round narrow. If you also want a new greeting and different weekend hours, test those separately. When the answer improves, you will know which instruction made the difference.
2 The steps
Open the test account.
Confirm the account or company name before coaching. Ask Tradesly for a sandbox if one is not already available.
Define the expected result.
Write the customer situation and the response your business considers acceptable before you begin.
Run a focused check.
Use the test experience available for the teammate and keep the conversation limited to the situation you are reviewing.
Inspect the customer-facing result.
Check the business facts, the promise made, and the next action. Use your own details for any phone test.
Record approval or the remaining issue.
Keep the example your team reviewed and contact Tradesly when the result is approved for live use.
3 Know what a test call can do
A test call can create a real booking or send a real text. Use your own contact details. Remove any test appointment you do not want to keep; open the Board and use Cancel appointment….
4 A useful finish line
You are ready to stop testing when you can ask the same important question in more than one natural way and the teammate responds as intended each time. You should also hear a conversation that still sounds like your business: correct facts, sensible next steps, and no unexpected promise.
This review does not require a perfect script. It requires a clear expected result, a customer-facing example, and a named person on your team who decided whether the behavior is ready for live use.
