The Board: your day, live
Who's where, who's running late, and what needs attention — at a glance.
The Board answers the practical question: is today on track, and what needs a dispatcher? Start with the pulse line, then work the Needs attention lane, then open a person's row when you need the detail.
The attention lane calls out visible problems such as Running late, Double-booked, and Unassigned. Treat those cards as a work queue. When the lane is clear, scan the team rows for the rest of the day.
1 Open a person's real day
Click a row to see that person's hours and appointments. Each appointment appears as a block you can open for assignment, rescheduling, or cancellation.
Assign to shows the available people and marks anyone who “can't do this” for the selected work. That warning helps you make a deliberate dispatch decision without hiding the appointment.
The job title at the top of that menu is a link to the appointment's ticket. The Board answers “who, and when”; everything else — what the caller actually said, the recording, what was quoted — lives on the ticket, one click away.
2 Keep the customer in the loop
The Board helps your office see a problem, but it does not make the customer call for you. When an appointment moves or a job is running late, open the ticket for the customer's details, contact them, and record the note while it is fresh.
3 The steps
Open Board and read the top line.
The range toggle switches between Day and Week; the pulse summarizes the range you are viewing.
Work the Needs attention lane.
Each card is one problem — Running late, Double-booked or Unassigned — and Open the Queue walks you through them rather than leaving you to hunt.
Open the person's row.
It unfolds into their hours with every appointment shown as a block.
Fix it from the block menu.
Assign to puts it on someone, Unassign takes it back, and This appointment leads to Reschedule… — pick a day and a window, then Move Appointment — or Cancel appointment…, which asks you to choose Cancel Appointment over Keep Appointment.
Then tell the customer yourself.
The Board changes your schedule, not their expectations — the window they're holding is the old one until you say otherwise.
4 What the Board never does
It never notifies the customer.
Moving or canceling an appointment sends nothing — no call, no text, no email. The customer is still expecting the original window until you tell them otherwise, and both dialogs remind you of exactly that.
Canceling does not remove the ticket.
The appointment is canceled while the customer's conversation and history remain available to your office. When a customer calls your own phone, use the plus button above the Board to add an Appointment. Book an Appointment asks for the customer, address, work, and time, then finishes on Book It. The Booked receipt includes Say it back to them so you can confirm the details before hanging up.
