Business hours & arrival windows
The promises your AI is allowed to make about time.
Every appointment is a promise about time. Business Hours and Arrival Windows define the promise your business is willing to make, while the Team view holds each person's working hours and time off.
Keep both sides current. Business hours answer “when do we take work?” Team hours answer “when is this person available?” A test booking should fit both.
1 Business hours are for the company
Use Business Hours for the days and times your company accepts appointments. The default is Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and you can give each day its own hours.
These hours do not replace a person's schedule. Dave may work 7 to 4 while the business books 8 to 5. His personal pattern belongs in the Team view; the company boundary belongs in Settings.
2 Choose windows or exact times
Many home-services businesses promise “between 8 and 10” instead of “9:15.” Choose Arrival windows when your crew needs that flexibility. Add the spans you actually use, then repeat the full window whenever you confirm or move an appointment.
Choose Exact times when customers should expect a specific start. Whichever shape you choose appears in the booking choices your customers see.
The useful rule is simple: set the page up the way your office speaks. If dispatch says “morning window,” your settings should not promise a minute. If dispatch promises an exact arrival, your settings should show exact times.
3 The steps
Open Business Hours in Settings.
It sits beside Team & Availability and Arrival Windows, with the current company hours shown first.
Press Edit and set the hours you take work.
Use “Set specific business hours” for different times by day, then press Save changes.
Open Arrival Windows and choose the promise.
Select Exact times or Arrival windows to match the wording your office uses with customers.
Add the windows you run.
Under Your windows, press Add Window, or use Use 8–12 · 12–4 · 4–6, then press Save changes.
Make a test booking.
Call your own AI line and check that the choices match your company hours and the time format you selected.
4 When you change these settings
Changes affect new booking choices. Existing appointments remain on the Board until you move or cancel them. Review any affected day after shortening hours, and contact customers yourself if their appointment changes.
