Welcome to Tradesly — what it does for your business
Give calls and leads a consistent first response, with your team ready for the moments that need judgment.
Tradesly helps a home-services business respond to calls and leads, keep the resulting work visible to the office, and involve a person when judgment is the better answer.
Your setup determines the customer-facing experience. The business name, hours, services, service area, scheduling choices, coaching, phone configuration, and contact permission all need an owner on your team. Start small, test with your own details, and review real conversations after launch.
1 What customers can use
Depending on the features enabled for your account, customers may reach you by phone, text, a lead source, or your public request and booking page. Tradesly can provide a first response using the business information and customer-facing limits you approved.
Do not assume that every channel has the same information, timing, consent status, or follow-up behavior. Test each channel you plan to publish, and verify the person and job before sharing private history.
2 What to do next
Create your account. Follow Create your account, including the agreement and privacy confirmation shown on the signup page.
Complete the three setup steps.
Work through Website, Phone, and Agent with the intended company selected.
Call your own number.
Ask one common question, try one situation that needs a person, and make a test booking if scheduling is enabled.
Review the result in Office.
Confirm the business identity, conversation, booking, and next action. Remove any test appointment you do not need.
Invite the people who will operate it.
Give each person their own account and the narrowest role and company access their work requires. Invite your team covers those controls.
An AI that knows when to stop being an AI explains the operating boundaries, and Your first test call gives you a short launch check.
3 What your office can see
Office is where your team opens available conversations, reads the customer’s request, and decides what needs attention. A ticket can show customer details, conversation history, bookings, notes, and the current outcome available for that work.
If activity appears under the wrong customer, company, or job, stop before contacting the person. Use the ticket or lead identifier when asking support to investigate rather than emailing an entire record.
4 When a person should take part
Your AI should not improvise through every situation. Coach clear boundaries for safety concerns, disputes, unusual prices, unsupported work, and any request for a person.
During a live call, an authorized teammate can use Listen to monitor, Take Over to speak, or Live Transfer to reach the configured teammate. Practice those controls on a call from your own phone, and keep a manual coverage plan for times when a carrier, device, integration, or service is unavailable.
5 What to verify before launch
- The AI line uses the correct business identity and greeting.
- Common questions use current hours, services, and service-area information.
- A test booking shows the correct customer promise on the Board.
- Staff know when to listen, take over, transfer, or arrange a follow-up.
- Every calling or texting source has the permission and disclosures your business relies on.
- Recent conversations are reviewed after important coaching or settings changes.
Avoid absolute promises such as “every call on the first ring,” “every lead in seconds,” or “nothing can be lost.” Phone and messaging service depends on configuration and third-party availability.
