Keeping brands separate
Keep each brand's customer work, settings and reporting distinct — and review who has access.
The fear with one team answering for many brands is always the same: things bleed. A customer of one brand surfacing in another's list. A caller hearing the wrong greeting. A franchise partner asking you to demonstrate separation — and the honest answer being “well, we're careful.”
Tradesly gives each brand its own working context. Your team can see the brand on a conversation, work with that brand's settings, and use access settings to decide who should cover it.
1 What stays with each brand
- Customers. Customer records are shown in the context of the brand handling their work.
- Conversations. Calls, texts and transcripts show the brand they belong to.
- Bookings. Each brand uses its own schedule, service areas and availability.
- Settings and voice. Hours, pricing, service areas, catalog labels, the agent's coaching: review and change these with the intended company selected.
2 What to do next
Read the Users list end to end.
Open Users in Settings and review each person's Role. Admins see all account-owned brands; Agents use Organizations.
Tighten Agent access to the job.
Narrow an Agent's Organizations to the brands they currently cover. Use Admin only for people responsible for every brand owned by the account; Who works which brands explains the choices.
Verify one brand at a time.
In the Office, use Filters and Companies; on the Dashboard, use the company picker. Report any unexpected company or customer information to support.
3 The screen keeps the brand clear
Each brand has its own phone number and business profile. On a ticket, Number called tells your team which line the customer reached. Check that detail before speaking, especially when one person covers several brands.
The conversation shows which brand the caller reached, so a shared CSR can confirm the right name before answering. One Office, every brand shows that side.
4 Access is something you review
In Users, an admin reviews each person's Role and, for Agents, their Organizations. Admins automatically see all brands owned by the account. Check these controls when someone joins, changes responsibilities, or leaves.
If you need evidence for an audit or partner review, capture the current user and company settings along with the date of the review. The Help Center describes the controls, but your agreement and security documentation are the right sources for formal assurances.
5 Plan exports and handovers early
If a brand is being sold, renamed, or moved, contact Tradesly before changing or closing the account. Confirm what needs to be exported, which users should retain access, and whether the phone number can be ported. Do not assume that an account change completes those business and carrier steps automatically.
6 You can still read the group
Keeping company work distinct doesn't prevent authorized admins from reviewing the portfolio. Use the company picker on the Dashboard to check a single brand or the group view available to you.
Review the visible controls and confirm that they match how your team works today.
